Today is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP).
Hebrews 13:1-3 states, “Let love of the brethren continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it. Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves also are in the body.”
When our brothers and sisters in Christ are being persecuted for Jesus, and many are all over the world, we should remember them, pray for them and help them if we are able.
Here are some organizations that work on behalf of the persecuted church that may help you be informed to know what to pray. I’m sure there are many more, but these are the ones I follow most closely.
