A Song for Christmas: In the First Light
Merry Christmas!
Songs of Christmas – Day 24
Merry Christmas Eve everyone. I love Christmas Eve. In our family, we have always gathered on Christmas Eve to eat and exchange gifts and I look forward to doing that again this year at my cousin’s house. I wish all of you a Christmas filled with joy and laughter and most of all, remembrance that Jesus came as a little baby, but he didn’t stay a baby. He grew up and he went to a cross willingly, to die for sinners like you and me.

Songs of Christmas – day 16
Today’s song was first published as a poem on Dec. 24, 1816. James Montgomery’s verse was later published in a hymnal. I particularly love verse five. I hope you all enjoy Angels from the Realms of Glory. Continue reading
Songs of Christmas – Day 15
Yes, I know my last post was 13. But since yesterday was a crazy day (I hosted a Christmas party last night), I failed to post. So like hotels don’t have 13th floors, I won’t have a song for day 14. Oh well. Continue reading
